What goes on?

You'll find details of our regular happenings and special events elsewhere on this website. However, a little explanation might be helpful.

  Sunday is our central day
  when we all meet together as
  a church family of people of all
  ages. We come to praise and
  worship God, to pray and to
  read his word - the Bible - and
  then to listen to it being
  explained. Twice a month, as
  he requested, we also
  remember Jesus at our
  communion service.   

  After most Sunday morning services,
  refreshments are provided, giving us
  all an opportunity to get to know one
  another better.

  Each week we meet for prayer and Bible
  study, and once a month meet in various
  homes to study God's word together.

During school term-times we have activities for children and young people, which include games, crafts and special events.

From time to time we hold Christianity Explored courses for anyone wanting to learn more about the Christian faith. Please contact us if you're interested.

Other special events are held, such as our annual Harvest Supper and Candlelit Carol Service, details of which can be found under Special Events on this website. We hope you'll be able to join us at Bethesda Baptist Church, Felixstowe.
