From the Pastor

"Hello! I'm Peter Croft, the Pastor of Bethesda Church in Felixstowe. I want to introduce you to the church family that meets here at various times each week, and trust that you'll make time to explore our website and, if you live locally, will want to join us sometime soon. I can assure you of a warm welcome!

The name 'Bethesda' sounds very strange to most people today. It's actually a very old word meaning a place where people can find help - literally, 'house of mercy'. But we are not just a building. We're a group of ordinary people who have come to know an extraordinary person - the Lord Jesus Christ, who has transformed our lives.

  what it means to be a Christian. Or
  perhaps you have questions about
  life and death and are just curious to
  know what the Bible has to
